It is a very special day at your Greensboro Cigar Company. We proudly announce the arrival of the Aganorsa Arsenio, the cigar that pays tribute to the late Master, Arsenio Ramos, responsible for the signature flavor that can only be Aganorsa.
An amazing human being that I had the honor and privilege to work with, Arsenio Ramos was born in Cuba and spent more than four decades working for Cubatabaco, the state-run tobacco company in Cuba. Around 2000, he left Cuba and went to work for Eduardo Fernández in Nicaragua, who had recently purchased Tabacalera Tropical from Pedro Martin, the company which is now known as Aganorsa Leaf. He would become the head of the manufacturing and blending for the company’s factory in Estelí, which is now known simply as Aganorsa. Sadly, he passed away in 2018 at the age of 83.
A few words on the man from Eduardo Fernández:
“Arsenio was a giant of the Cuban Tobacco Industry. He was a self-taught man of humble means, a true craftsman. He was a great human being who was instrumental in creating the singular flavor that distinguishes the richness of Aganorsa’s leaf, taking us back to the traditions of a true Habano of old. This blend was his favorite and a tribute to his lifetime of work.”
The Aganorsa Arsenio is crafted with a filler blend from Eduardo Fernández' Aganorsa farms in Condega and Jalapa, enveloped in a double binder of Criollo 98 from Esteli, and finished in Jalapa Corojo 99. A limited production of 2,000 boxes in a 5 1/4 x 54 Robusto and 6 x 52 Toro, and 1,500 boxes of Arsenio's favorite 6 x 44 Corona. Stop on in today and help us celebrate the life of Arsenio Ramos with this beautiful tribute to the man and his life's work.
From the heart of Little Havana in Miami, your Greensboro Cigar Company is thrilled to announce the arrival of El Titan de Bronze and Redemption!
First, a little history on the famed tabacalera that is El Titan de Bronze:
What can be said about Sandy Cobas' renowned fabrica that has not already been said? Established in 1995, family owned and operated, the factory and brand named after Antonio Maceo, one of the three patriots of Cuba alongside José Martí and Máximo Gómez. Birthplace of Redemption. Home to master blender Willy Herrera of Drew Estate. The cigars? How about the La Palina Goldie and Mr. Sam, Herrera Esteli Miami, Warped El Oso and La Colmena, HVC La Rosa, Padilla 8&11 Miami, La Gloria Cubana 8th Street, Partagas de Bronce, and Cohiba M, just to name a few. Cigars hand crafted by “Level 9” rollers, masters of their art, all of whom have worked for world-renowned factories in Cuba such as Romeo y Julieta®, Corona®, and Partagas®, including the late Maria Sierra of El Laguito, an icon with roots to Avelino Lara, creator of the Cuban Cohiba blend, and Eduardo Rivera Irizarri, personal roller to Fidel Castro. Each cigar meticulously crafted in the traditional Cuban style of tubing the filler (entubado) and finished with triple capped heads.
From Sandy Cobas on the brand's first ever national distribution:
“This is the right time, with the right people, and I feel so confident in them. After so many years, so much hard work with my family, this is the first time we will be able to get the amazing work of our artisans to people all over the country.”
On to the cigar! A sun-grown Ecuador Habano Claro wrapper covers a binder and filler core of Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa. Well-balanced and medium to full-bodied, producing notes of cocoa, black pepper, cedar, leather, and earth , all with an underlying sweetness and barnyard grassiness. Available in Corona (5 5/8 x 46), Robusto (5 x 50), and Toro (6 x 52).
Just through the doors of your Greensboro Cigar Company arrives the 2024 limited release of Bishop's Blend, from our friends at Black Label Trading Company/Black Works Studios/Oveja Negra, awarded Best Nicaraguan Boutique Brand for 2023 by Cigar Journal, focused on handcrafting small batch cigars through meticulous selection of only the finest tobaccos from the richest tobacco-growing regions of Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, and Ecuador, allowing their master blender and rollers to produce utterly unique works of cigar artistry with unsurpassed quality and flavor.
Crafted with a core blend of Nicaraguan, Pennsylvania Broadleaf, and Connecticut Broadleaf, bound in Ecuador Habano, and finished in Ecuador Habano Maduro, Bishop's Blend 2024 is a bold and complex expression of Black Label Trading Company's commitment to "less is more" philosophy of small-batch cigar making.
“We are very excited about this highly anticipated release. This is the eighth release of Bishops Blend and continues to be one of our most sought-after, limited annual releases. Bishops Blend boasts big bold flavors of anise, pepper, raisins, and a sweet earthiness on the finish. It is very complex and extremely refined. As with the past vintages, the broadleaf fillers shine at the forefront and are perfectly balanced by the Nicaraguan filler tobaccos,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co. and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Available in 5 x 48 Robusto, 6 1/4 x 46 Corona, and 7 x 42 Lancero, so stop on in today.

Crafted at My Father Cigars, S.A. in Esteli, Nicaragua under the ever-watchful eye of the Master, Jose "Pepin" Garcia, this is one cigar that will definitely command your attention.

Some words on both of these fan favorites from Andre Farkas at Viaje Cigar Company:
IT HAS BEEN TOO LONG - From the tobacco vaults in Esteli where some of our most prized leaf is aged comes Cache after a very long absence. This leaf has been patiently waiting for years to finally make its anticipated return. As always, a secret cache of 5 cigars awaits you in every box.
